Carpet Weaving Workshop
3 hour class
This workshop is a total immersion into the world of Berber weaving, supervised by local women artisans and a master weaver. Unlike simple demonstrations, you will practice weaving yourself a small piece to take home on a traditional loom, using hand-spun wool and discovering symbolic Berber motifs.
You will share Moroccan tea with local pastries while exchanging with the artisans and discovering their essential role in preserving this ancestral art. They will provide traditional jellaba and caftan outfits to wear to fully embrace the culture, and take pictures of your experience.
